Returns/Exchanges

Product Description / Images:
Product descriptions are a generalized overview for a specific product. If you want us to tell you how stoked you'll be about something we sell, drop us a line and we'll get you set.

Please note that not all browsers (on your phone or computer) will display images correctly.  We are not responsible for any variations in the image, color or description of a product.  Some sale items have been in the shop and warehouse for a longer period of time (that's why they're on sale) and show some minor imperfections (scratches or marks from people pulling boards from the rack and putting them back.  These imperfections are not covered, or valid reasons for return or refund.  If you are looking for a perfect new board or item, please consider purchasing a new current model year vs. a closeout item.

Product Warranty:
We sell only the highest quality merchandise and stand behind every product we sell with our manufacturers warranty. If you have a problem with an item purchased from us, please email us at info@thewakeshop.com. to obtain information on the warranty procedure for your specific product. Please know that you may be responsible for shipping charges on warranty returns, including any return shipping charges not covered by the manufacturer.

Returns and/or Exchange of a Product:

All items returned must be in new, unused condition and include an RMA provided by TheWakeShop. Any items that do not include an authorized RMA will be refused. Any item returned must not show any signs of wear / damage and MUST include ALL original tags and packaging. Items returned that do not include these will either not be accepted or be subject (up to) a 50% restocking fee.

The customer is responsible for original and return shipping charges which will be deducted from the refund.

No returns or exchanges may be authorized after 10 days of when an order has been placed. Closeout, Sale, Used or Blem items are not eligible for return/exchange unless they are defective - in which case a direct product replacement will be issued OR closest available alternative when inventory is unavailable.

Terms on Returns and/or Exchanges:

  • ALL returns/exchanges MUST be preauthorized AND include a RMA provided by The WakeShop.
  • We are only able to offer credit on the card /account that was originally used to purchase the merchandise.
  • Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded on orders that were originally shipped free of charge. Return shipping is the responsibility of the sender, and the sender assumes all responsibility to package items whereas to preserve the condition originally delivered. If a product is returned with damage / wear / signs of use - a refund will not be granted and items returned to sender (shipping costs will apply).
  • The WakeShop holds no liability of a returned item until an agent of The WakeShop has inspected and signed for them.
  • Any refused shipments (not pre-authorized by The WakeShop) that were originally ordered by the customer will be charged a 20% restocking fee along with the complete shipping and handling costs.
  • Returns/exchanges are usually processed within 3 - 4 business days after receipt. However, during busy times, they can take up to 10 business days. 
Please contact info@thewakeshop.com if you have not received a status on your return / exchange after 10 days of our receiving it. Please have your order number and any tracking information available from your returned package when you contact us.
